The Problem
We had less than three weeks to demonstrate to the Indy Racing League officials that there was a pent-up demand for Indy Racing in the Birmingham community.

The Idea
Customize IRL’s current slogan, “I am INDY” and show the officials at IRL that “Barber is INDY.”

The Results
More than 20,000 people attended a two-day test session in the Spring of ‘08 which convinced IRL officials to put Birmingham’s Barber Motorsports Park to the IRL schedule.
